Claire SandersHOST
So I think it's another way that actually improv is a brilliant example to the corporate world that we work in.

Jess RogersGUEST
yeah totally yes it is really important and actually the my improv spaces are as i say like some of the most psychologically safe spaces that i operate in which is lovely particularly that team that i've been with for a really long time uh we're called the banana hut gang because why not uh so this sort of yeah the psychological safety thing and if i if i can just talk a little bit about how we do that and i was gonna say like how do you get that yeah yeah because uh there's sort of a way that i do it we do it with a sort of very team orientated and there's definitely teams that i'm on that we haven't um done as many formal things as we've done with banana hut gang but there's just simple things that just permeate across the and and now that i'm um you know doing a lot more improv I will now perform with people I have like last week I performed with people that I've literally never met before and then we go on stage and do an hour show together which is like I feel so lucky to be able to do that um but there there's little things like um So we, from a formalized perspective with Banana Hut Gang, we do a lot of boundary talk in the sense of we ran ages ago and we'll continue to like check in on this periodically if it sort of changes and things.

Jess RogersGUEST
we did something that we were we were told it was called an intimacy circle at the time i don't know whether that's a a particularly widely used term in the improv world that's certainly what we we called it we basically sat down and because especially because we were creating these plays that could be love stories and you know like you don't know what's going to happen on stage We basically sat down and we all went round and said, this is what I'm happy for you to do and not do in terms of touch boundaries.

Jess RogersGUEST
Like all these little things you might be like, well, when's that ever going to come up? But it does.

Jess RogersGUEST
I've kissed all of the members of Banana Hut Gang on stage, apart from the ones that don't want to be kissed.
