Uh, brutalism sort of stemmed from Le Corbusier's, uh, béton brut, which I'm sure Amy could probably talk about a lot more in a mo- lot more nuance, but, uh, it, it's this idea of raw concrete, um, being, being used.

And you see a lot of it, um, in architecture that's made of concrete.

There's a lot-- There's some steel.

It's usually, uh, a, an out of proportion scale to the human body, so it's very large, imposing.

But what a lot of people don't realize is that brutalism was very different across the world.

Um, and so it's thinking very much about how we, um, live within that future, not necessarily what the form of that future might be.
