I really hope that it inspires more artists to start opening up about the narratives that they want to share.

My name is Jess Reyes.

I'm an artist and arts administrator living and working in St. Paul.

Right now, I'm especially excited about the work of Minnesota fiber artist Dee Dee Decker.

I'm fascinated by the way she transforms latch hook, a medium many people associate with craft kits.

She brings it into contemporary fine art through her own original designs.

So think that like 70s latch hook with cats and dogs, things that bring her joy.
