For people that don't know about the organization, can you talk about the organization and what they do here in Southeast Texas?

Well, PFLAG Southeast Texas, well, actually it's called Beaumont Southeast Texas.

We've changed our name recently to reach out to the entire Golden Triangle.

PFLAG was started by someone's mother because they wanted their son to have support and they wanted to have people like their son to have support also.

So our chapter began 12 years ago with several members and it started small and it's grown exponentially.

What we do is we give support to the LGBTQ plus community and their families because it's and the and their friends because everyone's a part of the whole picture when you're supporting your lgbtq family and friends that also includes your family members so we try to support we have a monthly education and support meeting we have a guest that comes and speaks about a topic and then we have a support session afterward And I've seen it's been very beneficial to people in our community.

They just go away feeling better.

This is, like I mentioned when I was reading about it, this is a significant fundraiser for y'all as well as a celebration.
