Just to sort of level set, is that kind of, am I on the right tracks as to what an MCP is?

Yeah, you are totally on the right track.

Let me give you an example of maybe we could kind of think of it as an onion.

There's so many analogies here, but if we start with an onion, at the heart of everything is an LLM.

So you have this model that's able to do this prediction analysis.

And on top of that, to make it run, you would have an agent.

And the agent would be the invocation piece that makes the LLM work.

So yeah, I love that idea of being able to not necessarily trace things back for a malicious reason of like, hey, you're using a babillion tokens and you're causing bottlenecks in the database, but more a case of, Somebody dropped the production server

Right

... because who knows what it's gonna be.

The hardest part next would be what if you upgrade to the next version of Entity Framework, but your other application doesn't upgrade to the next version of Entity Framework? What are the heuristics of the queries that are being written, and what are, and what are the-- I don't know, what's the wild hair that the developer is using to write some sort of a LINQ or Lambda statement that makes the query-

... which includes SQL MPC Server.

So now you can have not just two endpoint types, you can have a third endpoint type for your agents all being configured by a single JSON file.

And they all share the same configuration, which it, the important part of that is now your agents have the same sort of gu- guardrails and guidance, have the same sort of, uh, pr- uh, forced predicates, the same sort of security authorization, and all this cool functionality around, um, caching and paging and filtering and stuff like that that you would want to give to your app builders, you can now give it to your agents as well.
