How did you, when did you start applying it to flooring?

So in 2013, I sold Blind Devotion and in 2015, I, I was working in the building where there was a flooring company and this guy was just doing everything wrong.

I could see it.

And he's been in it his whole life, but he wasn't running the business.

You know, he kept trusting the wrong people, but you know, the problem was him and his poor leadership.

But, um, And I decided to consult for him, and I told him, once I dug into his books and stuff, like, Carl, you're done.

Either you need to get a loan, and I can help you turn this around, or you need to close up shop and go home.

Can you give me an example of one of these that you've worked with?

So what are some of the things that you feel, if you had to summarize three to five points that are like the main key points here, that if you knew them in 2008, 2009, you wouldn't have gone bankrupt?

Yeah, I mean, marketing is a huge thing.

So really understanding how marketing works and how people work.

Because when you're in product focused industries and both window coverings and flooring were both product focused industries, they're not people focused.

So you get within an industry and you start advertising like other people do and you start believing what other people are believing.

And you're focused within the industry instead of on the customers.

You know, there was always a school of thought.

So they just like basically bump into each other and fall and that's the way it looks.
