How about that? What piece will you play for us next?
12:15
The next piece we're gonna play is something we arranged, the four of us, a couple months ago, and we called it L'Acadien d'Acadie.
12:24
So the four of us met in Montreal, in Canada, and there's a rich tradition of folk music in Quebec, and Celia and I are Quebecois, So it felt really special.
12:35
We started learning folk music for fun, and then we went to the Avalok Farm Institute for a residency of one week, and our goal was to arrange folk music and be able to perform it, add it to programs, let people hear what the beautiful folk music of Quebec is like.
12:53
So we put together three Acadian tunes.
12:56
I have Acadian roots too, so it feels really special to me to share this with you.

I've always wondered what kind of considerations you have to take into mind when you're playing outside versus inside.
