J
14:23Jeremiah ReidGUEST
I've been having a lot of FOMO, um, hearing about Claude, Claude Code, and I wanted to try it with a personal project.

7DRL was coming up, and I had this thought, "Why don't I code two games at the same time?" Which is really laughable, right? I mean, it's silly, but I thought, "Okay, I can just type in a terminal on one screen and just have that make the game, and then I'll hand code another game on the, on the other screen." Um, and, and that didn't really work because what I learned was if, while I was vibe coding, and to be clear, that means you're not looking at the code at all.

You're just asking the AI to, to create things, and then if they don't work, you're just asking for them to fix them or iterate.

And I thought like, "Oh, I can just, I can just write something and it'll go off for a few hours and, and make a game." But it's like it'll come back in a minute, like Claude will come back in like 30 seconds or a minute or two, and then, oh, I, it requires my attention again, right? So it's like, um, you have to be fully present.
