your career as a performer and everything like that, how did it all start to come together to do what you're doing
1:43
now? For me, it's been this adventure of seeing in retrospect how it all fit together.
1:50
From when it was coming together, it was when I got breast cancer, even though I had just come back from Germany and I had placed second in a competition.
2:03
I started competitions because I didn't want the feedback to just be, oh, you look so cute in your costume.
2:10
I want it honest, right? If my message in the performance was coming through, I had been learning from a professor of, well, She's not technically a professor.
2:23
I regarded her as a professor because she came from a fine arts background.
2:28
And she taught about the art of telling a story and having congruency in costuming music and the actual dance formats I was drawing from.

distinction not a high distinction why why did I do that it's like in the end you know I look back at schooling and I'm like what would have mattered I just passed that's all that people care about and did you get the degree or not that's all they care like they don't mind
10:09
So maybe you have to say a little bit more because I have no idea who she is.
10:13
Oh, Deborah Messing is an American actress.
10:16
So she was in my class.
10:17
Yeah.
10:19
In the US, there's a show called Will and Grace that she was a co-star in.
10:23
So super cool to see her on stage and remember being in class with her.
10:29
However, I couldn't, I was not allowed to ever consider even a major in dance.

26:43
So when do you see change happen for people? Is that usually after five sessions, after 10 sessions or is there not? I mean, of course it depends on people, but I'm just thinking like, you know, if ever I was intrigued now and I want to sign up to a program, what would that entail?
FortuneHOST
12:40
So, um, but I have to ask, what makes, um, self trust different from simply becoming more confidence? If I put it that way.
12:51
Okay, that's a very good question.
12:53
So, so in some ways they're almost interweaved in almost the, like, the both sides of the same coin, but they're still different sides of the same coin, if that makes sense.
13:08
Oftentimes people will talk about the opposite of confidence is, like, imposter syndrome.
13:13
[laughs] I feel like I don't deserve to he- be here versus confidence.
13:18
Oh, I've been here before, or I know what I'm capable of.
13:21
I wanna tell you a story about when I was put on a ropes course as part of a mastermind training on ability to speak.

19:05
So across all these disciplines, what's the biggest thing you've learned about why people become disconnected from themselves?
50:12
Okay.
50:15
famous or almost famous people from from South Korea now offering online classes for relatively low, low rates for groups.
50:24
And the few one on ones that I did, people felt it was too expensive.
50:28
And I had to explain to them what you're getting someone with all this training, and I'm going to catch things other people don't, and they did find value in it, but they didn't renew another portion of lessons with me.
50:39
So there is an aspect to learning has a an adult person that's vastly different from our memories of learning dance or movement as a child it's just a different format altogether and people are starting to understand that like nervous system restoration and even the fact that people have a lot of people have unresolved trauma and it's all coming up as you age i know there's an audience around that that's willing to invest themselves and i'm more like I need to get that message because the program's set.
51:12
Like I already have all the offers.
51:14
It's more my actual, how do I frame it? So it's like irresistible and juicy.
53:45
So I help midlife women who are burnt out achieve what?
FerdinandHOST
18:29
Okay, so I'm asking, now still on the previous question I asked about successful people, now let's talk about how can somebody, let's say a person, tell the difference between making a decision out of fear or making a decision based on who they truly are?
18:51
So what I really want to make clear is There is always a way to clarify a decision as long as you are in tune with your personal awareness of whether or not it's a good decision.
19:12
So I'm going to, I'm going to give you an example.
19:16
My son is a dance performer.
19:18
He graduated with a ballet degree.
19:21
And now that he's graduated, he's a part of a very cool company that's located here in our city.
19:29
And they're getting ready for a show towards the fall where he's been asked to do multiple, you know, multiple pieces.

I'm a Christian.
11:31
And there's so much knowledge and information in the other 95% of your body that when you stop ignoring it and start tuning into it, it's amazing what can shift.
11:57
Absolutely.
11:57
And let's not forget also, in the scientific research now, even in your brain, we've only accessed 5%.
12:05
There's another 95% of the subconscious that's called the subconscious we're not even aware of and don't know quite exactly how it works, even though we know a lot already about what it does.
12:20
The body itself... we knew the language when we were born.
12:24
We were conditioned to ignore it when we grew older, right? And so the key is just to remember that return that I mentioned at the beginning of the interview, the return to self is to return to remembering that mother language you have with your body.
12:39
You already have it.

6 MINS LATER

18:25
And you know what? When I stopped doing it all, I felt so much better.
