So in this case, the plaintiff, who I note was 37 years old at the time that she commenced this action, stated in her statement of claim that her parents, including the deceased as her father, separated in 1991 when she was about three years old.

So for all intents and purposes, by her own admission, per the statement of claim, the plaintiff stated she did not and never did receive support from her father, the deceased, including immediately prior to his death, which is critical for dependent support claims, as we'll address in a minute.
