So what are some signs that our close-up vision might be changing?
36:12
Yeah, so often it's the little things that people start to notice.
36:16
As our eyes start to age, it's coming for a close-up vision to become more blurry over time.
36:21
And this condition is called presbyopia.
36:23
You might start to notice things like holding your phone a little bit further away from you, making your phone a little bit larger to see, or just using more light in general.
36:30
I once had a patient around four who came in and she noted that she would start to make her text a little bit larger each and every time, not realizing that it was her vision that was actually changing.
36:40
So this sounds familiar, I would suggest getting your eyes examined by your eye doctor and discuss your options.
38:02
So what's the main thing that people should keep in mind about blurry vision?
18:10
Were you intentional with that or did it organically just happen?
18:14
I've always liked skincare and beauty.
18:16
I've always dealt with dry eyes myself.
18:19
And it started because I worked at Mount Sinai in the eye and ear department as my first job in the hospital.
18:25
And I was in the eye care department and I was dealing with heavy dry disease.
18:29
And I was just like surprised that the only way to treat these patients was when it was like end stage too late.
18:34
They're about to lose their vision and you put them on medication and they come back months later.

I can see it.
