So is there that business case there in the way that the news is telling us, in the way that the media is telling us? What's your perspective on that?
4:26
Yeah.
4:27
So like you said, I've done a number of different efforts, whether it be research that's published within peer reviewed journals or even just qualitative research within the organizations I'm working within or quantitative research for that matter.
4:45
And through each one of my experiences, all of the data, including my dissertation data, by the way, points to well-being being very well connected and correlated with business success and performance.
4:58
Now, of course, as you know, Sanjay, that depends on the definition of well-being and how you're defining it, how you're measuring it, the analysis that you're using.
5:08
And so we probably don't have time to get into a lot of those details.
5:13
But what I can share with you is that not only from my research, but also from my operational experience within the organizations I have worked.
10:12
So just playing devil's advocate there, what would be your responses as a former C-suite executive yourself?
17:18
And can you talk about a specific one or two things that they did?
17:22
So I had an exceptional leader at Johnson & Johnson.
17:27
Her name is Jennifer Bruno.
17:28
She's since retired.
17:30
She was their VP at the time of the organization I was in.
17:33
And I'll never forget when COVID hit, I was the global head of employee mental health and well-being at the time.
17:44
And the pandemic had hit.

10 MINS LATER

And I wonder like, it fascinates me just how maybe misaligned things are when you're thinking as a shareholder profits, you know, stock prices and that you're thinking like employee culture, wellbeing might not necessarily be, make that tomorrow a better, but maybe over time, but they're thinking like, I need the stock price to rise today.
