I performed several of the steps of DNA analysis.

There's a four-step DNA process, and I did steps two through four, which are the quantitation, determining how much DNA is in that sample, amplification, making lots and lots of copies of the regions of DNA that we are analyzing, and the fourth step is producing that DNA profile, which is like a graph that looks like an EKG with peaks on it.

What is that process? Quantification is just determining how much DNA is in that sample.

So after that DNA is extracted, which Nicole had previously spoken about, I take those samples and determine how much DNA is in those samples because we need a certain amount to produce a DNA profile or an optimal DNA profile.
