Like, can you let us in on that piece of your life and what it's like to be you? I love

people and I love writing songs.

And writing songs is actually a lot of work.

I mean, getting the song inspiration is usually fun, but actually finishing the song out is like a lot of brain work and to make it great.

And my husband is actually... one of the best songwriters, especially in the Christian space, out there.

And he's kind of the silent one.

And so I think a big key ingredient for the song world of ours is we have a lot of song collaborations that we do.

Um, has writing music about your faith and Christianity, do you think that has brought you closer to your faith?

Absolutely.

You know, I think we see that very clearly in the Psalms with, you know, just David processing with the Lord of the highs and lows through life, you know? But yet God is victory.

But yet you, God.

But yet you, God.

And God loves when we're honest, I think, you know? And so songs are a great way to communicate with the Lord.

Um, I kind of see songs too differently.

So when listeners hear your music, uh, do you just hope them, hope for them to take, uh, faith and ministry from your music, or happiness? What do you hope for them to take?

Under quite the, the lock and vault, but I can tell you it is such a mosaic, um, for me of life.

Um, there for sure are a few worship songs on there because worship is like my second nature.

I've been a part of worship and in church since I was a little girl, and so it's just part of who I am in a, in a big way.

But, um, there's really songs from different seasons of my life, songs that I wrote for other people.

There's a song that I wrote for my brother like 20 years ago, um, about, uh, how I, you know, we've gotta know God for ourselves and just it's kind of a prayer.

Um, there's a country love song that Brian and I do together, um, that's beautiful.

Have I not even noticed it and, and gone cold?" And I actually had an encounter at Passion where, um, I just, the Holy Spirit just in that moment ac- actually after he spoke, I just closed my eyes, and I sat there.

And I, I cried and cried as, as I just heard the Holy Spirit speak into me, "Wake up.

Wake up." And I hadn't even realized that I had been slipping.

We'd had a, a really few, a, a hard year, honestly, in our family with a couple different, um, things going on in our family.

And, um, I just found myself like I'm slipping, like emotionally a little bit.

What, what made you feel like you wanted that to be the title?
