Um, I was, am so grateful for the medical team that I had, um, because I think they really, they talked to me, um, not like, you know, a young child, but as someone who deserved to know the information.

And what information my parents got was the same information that I got.

Um, so for me at that time, I think that was really helpful.

It was appropriate information.

It was, um, given to me kind of in, in pieces.

How can we prepare friends and family for what they may see when they do visit or when he, he or she is going back to school and, you know, maybe they don't have hair or whatever? What, how can we, we prepare other people so that they can be supportive and not scared?
