And fawning is an adaptation where you've learned when you are in a moment that doesn't feel emotionally safe to you, you're going to fix it.

You're going to accommodate it.

You might make yourself very small.

Having an understanding, being integrated doesn't make it go away.

You know, we still have it, we just have a recognition around it, and we have a, a, a, um, comfort level around this is just who we are, and we're gonna try to work on those things.

And thinking about that, for me, was a big thing.

I challenge other people, you know, how does your wound show up in your relationship, and what kind of relationship do you need to best meet who you are-

And if so, there's a very proper and healthy way to do that, that, that protects people's, uh, feelings and, and, and doesn't cause more pain and more wounds.
