Dick Turpin is someone who goes through the entire facet of the human experience and the highs and lows of fighting for survival and thriving and winning at any costs.

I'm Jemima Rupert and I play Betty Turpin.

Playing Betty Turpin has been an absolute delight.

Our writers, Matt Braddy and Darren Rapier, have written a brilliant character that is sort of little known and they've given sort of life to a person who wouldn't necessarily be able to tell their story and we don't know anything about her.

And she's all the things in this series.

She's a brilliant... wife she's a brilliant woman she's fun she's got so much heart and she's feisty and brave and just all all the good things in a woman um so i've utterly enjoyed playing her my husband is a respectable tradesman why are you badgering us

She sent me.

You want to keep her under control or she'll be running rings around you, like I used to.
