But we never view it as, hey, we're gonna completely automate the whole content process.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
That being said, you could of course do it, right? So, like, we, we are MCP native.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
You can have AI agents be first party users of Ordinal and create content for you autonomously.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
I think our perspective, at least for now though, is still that we generally wanna build for teams, and in teams there is a lot of cross-coordination, collaboration, and at the end of the day what we wanna do is make the social effort scale out in a way that wasn't possible without technology.

Like, like I guess what, what are the implications on the marketing team specifically? Like what, what are you seeing from the marketing teams that you're working with in terms of like how they need to organize themselves and the activities that they need to do and the new problems that they have to like meet this new sort of world?

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
Yeah, I definitely think like, yeah, we're definitely in a transition period, right? So I feel like when we think about a lot of marketing teams today, they maybe are still operating under the old model of like thinking about social as a brand awareness channel.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
And so the job of social becomes much more like, okay, we just need to post like once a week or twice a week.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
The KPIs that we care about are much more just like top of funnel things, right? Like, do we get the impressions that we want? Is the engagement rate good? Is the content like, you know, getting pushed out in a consistent way? I think there's like a huge shift that's happening right now because basically as more and more teams start to realize that social is actually like a revenue generation or a pipeline channel, the way that they treat social will fundamentally change as well, right? So there's a few things that shift.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
One is in terms of like what we kind of consider the frontier teams that are paving what the future of social teams kind of looks like.

Jeffrey ZhaoGUEST
The first is the type of content becomes much more sophisticated and nuanced, right? It shifts from just being like generic company updates or like, here's us at our offsite, right? Like, you know, things that you would typically see on LinkedIn to becoming much more verticalized, right? So they think of it as like a matrix, right? You have top of funnel, middle of funnel and bottom of funnel topics, because this is like, you know, a conversion funnel, just like any GTM channel has.

What do you think their day looks like? What do you think their job looks like? How do you kind of see their role?
