You know, you don't really know what to do with your cholesterol even unless you know if, whether you've got the disease.

So in the, in the late '80s, early '90s, certainly in the '90s, uh, we began looking for ways to find the disease, and that was very revolutionary in those times.

Nobody really did that.

You d- you just talked about things.

You maybe looked at your cholesterol, and you and the doctor didn't know what to do, and then pretty soon you have a heart attack.

Well, now we better treat things.

Help a guy like myself sort of understand where the technology is, if you will, with medicines and kinda break through that mental resistance.

Every one of your listeners, and sometimes you still have to push your doctors 'cause insurance isn't gonna like this, and your doctors get stuck in just doing cheap, very little medicine, you know, unless you're complaining of something, 'cause they're stuck in some insurance system that won't let them do anything.

You wanna tell your doctor, "I'm looking for the best.

How can we do it?" Uh, uh, and oftentimes I look at it g- a good opportunity to spend more than your insurance covers.

If I'm running your insurance, I'm not interested in your health, I'm interested in the cost of your health, and that's why the things get done like they get done.

So then once you've got plaque, the thing that's gonna kill you is a clot.
