But how long before that had conversations been happening behind the scenes? Where does all this go back to?

Yeah, you know, it really goes back to Vic Isley with Explore Asheville and her connection with the PGA Tour through a former position she was in and her looking for ways to really – Shine a light on Asheville and to quote her, you know, that Asheville is open for business.

So we were approached early last year to gauge our interest in the event and being the host facility for the championship.

There's a lot of layers that go into hosting something of this level.

So initial site visits started in late April, early May with the PGA Tour.

So initially they have to determine, you know, is the golf course suitable and capable for hosting championship golf? And I think, you know, not to speak for the tour, but, you know, Steve obviously was in on those.

I think they realized very quickly that our golf course from a quality standard and from a test of golf was was very suitable to hold the championship.

I was a couple minutes late because I got stuck behind coming in here, a big truck carrying like some gigantic piece of equipment that I could only assume had something to do with it.
