And now these new polymer tipped bullets, any of the plastic sharply tipped bullets, it's really minimized it down to almost a needle point with some.

Right.

Well, too sharp, too sharp is actually not good.

Not good from a lot of perspectives, kind of number one of which is safety and handling.

But the, yeah, too sharp.

What happens when it's too sharp is the shockwave can actually attach directly to the bullet there.

and that actually creates a slightly higher drag than if it was just a little tiny bit more blunt.

So am I on the right track here in interpreting why this is happening?
