But, uh, Jamie Davis has a couple polls showing him within four points, and how do you see that race, Jeff Sadow?

Yeah, I l- I, uh, took a look at the, at, um, the latest, uh, of those two, which is done by, um, uh, d- uh, Peter Hart, uh, Hart's firm, which, um, uh, usually does pretty good work.

Uh, I, uh, looking at the internal numbers, I think they were a little optimistic in terms of Democrat, uh, uh, turnout proportion of, of the electorate, so that might be driving that a little bit.

But I do think that, uh, he's got a, a decent shot at being the first Democrat running statewide in quite some time to, uh, to get within single digits, uh, in, in the final outcome.

So, uh, yeah, and that I think would be more a factor of Republicans not turning out, and maybe, uh, disgruntled Republicans, let's say, disgruntled because either, um, Bill Cassidy is not there or because John Fleming's not there.

Uh, so I think that's g- that will be a little bit of a, a, an anchor there.

But, uh, it's not, it's not gonna be enough.

And, uh, as you've said, I, I think Jeff Landry will use this as one of his great accomplishments when he runs, uh, when he's on the ballot a, a year from today.
