In terms of, you know, also getting ready for the season, starting earlier this year, training camp and everything, short and preseason, does that change anything for you?

Yeah, no, not really.

I mean... right now for me going into training camp it's really going to be a lot about you know getting up to date with new systems um you know figuring out the style and everything but um expect to you know be in a handful of these these pre-season games um just because of the restrictions and everything but um yeah it'd be nice to get some games going and get involved in the systems and everything and you know try and figure all that out as fast as possible

How does this compare to previous off seasons for you?

I don't know, like every off season, I'm trying to kind of address things and work on areas and then just show up in the best shape possible.

So not really any different from previous off seasons.

In the past, it's kind of been an opportunity to try and improve and make gains and everything.

So that's kind of just been the main goal this off season as well.

Can you kind of go through that a little bit undrafted out of Cornell? You were the captain at Cornell, you know, starting in Winnipeg, Los Angeles and now here in Anaheim.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So I was really fortunate to do four years at Cornell, learned a lot there, had a great time and really developed as a player.

And in college, spending four years there, really got to learn a bunch of different roles.

And then coming into the American League, kind of shifted and took on even more responsibility there and really just you know, a lot of, a lot of guys talk about how important their time in the American league was.

And I think for me, it really, you know, helped me round out, um, you know, learn a lot of different things and, uh, you know, get me ready for, for, uh, you know, an opportunity in the NHL.

So, um, yeah, I spent four or five years in the American league and then, um, yeah, I was given an opportunity in LA, uh, two seasons ago near the end of the season and leading into playoffs.

When you talk about your off season a little bit, obviously moving around and everything, but have you gotten into your training much? What, what does that look like?
