Yeah, tell us about your daughter and how this whole journey started.

Of course.

My daughter, Emma, was born with NF, type 1.

There's actually three different types of NF, NF1, NF2, and schwannomatosis.

NF1 is the most common.

At about three months old, her pediatrician noticed some birthmark-type spots and said that, you know, this is something we should watch out for.

And by the time she was nine months old, she was officially diagnosed with the disorder.
