I want to bring Jeff into the conversation for his reaction to something that Sandra just said.
47:17
I'd like to say I did raise my hand about keeping my kids home from school.
47:21
But when it's a sunny day, I keep my kids home from school.
47:24
So I was always looking for an excuse.
47:26
I loved what you said about school lunches and what you said about unintended consequences.
47:36
And my good friend was our school board president at the time.
47:40
He's now our county judge, which is like our county administrator.

58:57
lot of conversation flying first of all i'd say buy the dip
50:45
get re-elected do you feel are you you're happy to have them don't care you don't because it's it's getting the message out it's promoting yes
50:54
i mean it's politics i mean i think i think every politician uses things to get re-elected And I think a lot of times politicians – Tim, no offense to you, sir.
51:03
Yes, thank you.
51:04
But I think that's necessarily what politicians do.
51:08
They latch on to something that they can.
51:10
But because it becomes part of the political narrative, people start talking about it.
51:16
And I've mentioned this a couple of times before.

68:48
And do you mean specifically like and I'm not asking you to name names, but just people inside the White House, basically?
35:34
Is it not fair to assume that if you are vaccinated, your chances of spreading a disease become lower, say for previous diseases, right? That is there something in there that you can sort of understand the perspective that vaccination doesn't just protect you, but protects your community? Like that's often what people say, right? What goes through your mind when you think of that?
35:59
Oh, if it's something, I mean, I think vaccines in the past, we've been told that when it comes to tuberculosis and certain things like this, that we need certain medicines to stop the spread of it.
36:14
And I think most people were okay with that.
36:16
Polio was another one.
36:18
But I think those were very, very much like understandable.
36:23
But what's happened with the COVID vaccine when it came out, and I think really the shift that we see is because of the single vaccine, the rhetoric around it, was that you're not necessarily stopping the COVID, but it's going to be what's good for you.
36:39
I have a little bit different perspective.

26 MINS LATER

63:12
Right.
22:01
What happens next for MAGA? Like, if, if truly there is a fracture between MAGA and MAGA, like, where do you see your community sort of taking their energy next?
22:12
Well, I have personally...
22:15
M- maybe this is because I'm a, I'm a Southerner, but I've always been a little skeptical of the federal, um, perspective when it comes to MAGA.
22:26
Um, I myself, my favorite, uh, area to engage in politics is county level and below because I really think this is where the power in our lives really lie.
22:36
I'm a huge fan of Thomas Massie.
22:38
Like I said, I'm a Republican Liberty Caucus guy.
22:41
He, he's really our guy.

15 MINS LATER

37:30
