Oh
68:39
...
68:40
in a succinct way.
68:41
Um, and so, okay, I, I picked one of the characters.
68:43
I, I, um, I picked, uh, Leda.
68:46
Uh, she's like the, the, a dancer character.
68:48
Um, uh, she plays a magical guitar that can summon demons.
71:57
Yeah
14:36
Yeah
14:36
...
14:36
it gives you a list of stuff.
14:37
And kinda, again, kinda similar to a Tony Hawk game.
14:40
But in Tony Hawk, it, it, like, you know, one plus two or three plus four now, the games that pe- most people would be familiar with, it's like, "Go do a kick flip over a certain thing in the stage." You're not...
14:49
You're, you're g- you're on tracks, so then there's a couple of variances throughout each level of, like, maybe some areas you can go left or right.
14:56
And there will be different challenges hidden on each side of those tracks.

23 MINS LATER

37:59
That's fine.
3:58
How do you handle that when you've got a whole slew of people who are helping you?
4:02
Well, that's a good question because most of the worlds I've built have been collaborative in nature.
4:07
There have been a lot of people throwing in a lot of things from all sides.
4:11
And as you say, for tone, certain amounts of the tone work.
4:15
certain amounts of the tone don't, and someone has to be able to make their call.
4:19
Usually I'm very, you know, open to collaborative efforts, basically because I always feel people work better and are more invested in the project if they have a piece of the action, if they can say, ooh, that's something I brought to the system.
4:35
Dragonlance, I was the third guy in on for that.

11 MINS LATER

15:23
I find really interesting about integrating rules with setting is something that I suspect you had to deal with as I recently reread the Al-Kadim rules, which is how do you customize an existing rule set in order to support and reinforce the setting that you want to create?
104:15
Let's split.
104:15
split.Hi, I'm Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb.
104:23
I want to talk to you about Scamline, which I played on PC.
104:27
Scamline is a multiplayer social deduction game, friend slop of a sort.
104:35
It is a game where up to eight players all get put into their own rooms, and the only primary way to talk to the other players is by calling them on a phone.
104:46
We played this over on Giant Bomb, and it was incredible to, like, see how instantly everyone just got what was going on and what you're supposed to do to take advantage of the other players.
104:57
Uh, r- before we got started, I was asking the other players, "Are you familiar with the prisoner's dilemma, with game theory?" And some were, but most actually surprisingly weren't.
