When you're on the road with the boys, how much do you get sick of each other after a while, and you're like, okay, I'm ready to go home and live my nice, quiet life in the TOL, in the town of LaSalle?

Yeah, it's really weird.

I mean, the older you get...

I think the more we've learned to respect each other's privacy in downtime, like when you're on the road, everyone likes to do their own things too, right? So some of us are up in the morning getting a workout in and then going sightseeing and then go to museums and others are sleeping in because they're tired from the night before and so on and so forth.

But coming home to the TOL is legitimately my favorite thing to do.

I mean, I love performing.

You're born into that kind of thing.

That is the one in Leamington.

some guys from, did you all go to sandwich?

Yep.

Yeah, we're all LaSalle guys.

And like you said, it started here and then it just started growing.

And then organically, it just blossomed from here to Europe, to Australia, to New Zealand.

And it was quite a ride.

It's like, it's, it's weird.

But that helps too, right, Jeff? Like that motivates you and kind of like gives you the energy to do it when you see so many people being supportive like that.

Yeah, yeah.

There's folks like Bill and Aggie Serafianos and Paul and Rhonda Slavik who own the M&M Meat Shops who would literally stay that whole time and eating Greek sugar cake overnight to keep me going.

Thank you, Aggie, for doing that all the time.

It's just, you know, it's been a very, very cool experience.

And I'm looking forward to doing something even equally as cool, but far less taxing on the body and for another 20 years so that I can get into my late 70s.

And at that point, I'll fully retire.

I was just going to say, Jeff, can you give us some of the details here, you know, the days that this takes place and where and how much and all that?

And you know what's funny, Jeff? I was thinking, I believe we did this interview last year at this time, and I'm like, I can't believe it's been a year already.

Yeah, you guys are so good to me and those who are putting this on.

It's already been a year.

When my wife brings it up, I thought, oh, my God, it's a year already? Right.

I know.

But it's such a fun event.

You know, Easter egg hunt for dogs and their families, of course, put on by the National Service Dogs.

Yeah, the mountain of Windsor.

unreal i guess what what an experience for you and the band jeff burrows from the tea party joining us and you guys are huge in australia aren't you i mean just like you are here in canada and in north america i mean you guys are not like a foreign band there you're almost like a local band in australia

it's wild yeah like you know we're here we are at the opera house sold out everyone's standing up and it was strange because You know, the staff at the Opera House just are not used to that.

They have pop bands and they have pop evenings, much like the WSO, and they do those kinds of great things.

But when a rock band comes in and, you know, we don't tone it down at all.

We just go for it.

It was just that much more fun, you know?

Jeff, is there one thing that has really surprised you about Australian culture?

You know what? The similarities between Australia and Canada are almost identical.

Can you tell us a little bit about the Christmas concert this year, some of the details there?

Yeah, so this is, I think, our 13th or 14th year.

We got a little mixed up with COVID and so on, but The tradition continues with our friends at St. Clair College and the entire band, which has grown over the years and mixing it up this year by doing two smaller shows instead of one big show to get a little bit more variety of dates for everyone.

And, yeah, it's something that we've just grown to love.

The band are just, we're just a group of friends who are in a variety of groups amongst all of us.

Amongst the 10 of us, there's probably 16 different groups and formations of bands and duos and so on and solo artists.

So it's just a tradition that we love.
