Yeah.

So like you guys, I'm sure everyone has a similar route to horror.
47:34
You just, as a kid, you just are so fascinated by scary things.
47:39
And, you know, you do what you can as a kid to try and, you know, sneak your way into movies, find these horror movies.
47:46
And you hear like old people's older brothers and stuff talking about like Freddy Krueger and stuff.
47:50
And you get so curious.
47:52
And then you see on the front of magazines, you might see Michael Myers or something.

they break the fourth wall to say that there hasn't been any nudity for a little while.
44:47
And they were like, okay, you haven't been naked yet, so you get naked.
44:51
And I really love that.
44:53
You know, this proto-Scream meta commentary on all the tropes of horror at the time, especially in the 80s.
45:03
But I do feel like sometimes...
45:06
the gorgon especially um was in place to suggest that there might be actual gore but i don't know if you remember for a lot of it it was the gorgon gongs and then we cut to the scene and we don't see any gore whatsoever it cuts away or it's off screen i was like throw in some throw in some gore you know yeah
