How's the training different for those types of dogs than they are for your stereotypical

causes? Yeah, so it was a little sort of trial and error.

The first year that we were sort of trialling and experimenting with Whippets, we were learning really how not to do it rather than how to do it.

And where we were sort of not getting the performance or the success rates that we were looking for at certain points that we were training, we had to kind of think, why is this not working? You know, why aren't we moving forward? And then we just had to just literally stop and think, right, if I was a sighthound, what is it? What is it that makes them tick? What is it that makes them want to do something? And we just completely changed the way in which we train.

Everything was not going from asking the dog to do something like you would a collie, you would train and then ask it.

It was more about encouraging the whippet to want to do it.
