How do you choose between a mild and a minute man or any kind of indirect lumbar decompression?

Yeah, that's a tough question.

It's a loaded question, right? So, you know, the reality is that it's truly like a decision matrix, right? There's obviously patient preference, right? There's obviously patient comorbidities, things like osteoporosis we always think of, right? And then, of course, there's dreaded insurance that says, you know, not what we should do, but what we can do.

So there's kind of the practical pieces of that matrix, but then there's also the more academic stuff, kind of like what I was just saying, is really making sure that what you're seeing radiographically clinically is aligning with, is this truly a mild or immediate patient? So that's the reality that we all kind of have to deal with.

Now, with that being said, to me, it's the way I kind of think about it to simplify it, to give you a simpler answer is, if it's a classic claudication patient, you know, they, they mentioned shopping cart sign before you can ask about it.

If they say, yep, relief with flexion, they have a honking fake ligament and maybe they don't have as much of this other stuff going on in their MRI.

Then I'm going to say, sure.
