get lost
13:31
then.
13:31
Right.
13:31
And how do you get through that? Because by the time you...
13:37
like and especially if you have a slow computer it could take two days to upload now you've got two million songs that have just passed you by like what what's happening here um so i i'm i'm trying to think of different ways to market my music i'm not sure if that makes me stupid but um i think that there's uh i think um tv and film is a really great way to get stuff out there now um like tv is the new radio basically if you can get a song on television for an artist especially a writer um that's that's a really good um well it's good for anybody but i mean it's it's it gets you exposed faster you know um because Spotify, um, Apple streaming, all that stuff.
14:20
It's, it's gotten to the point now where with AI, there's even AI slop songs that are out there and, and you're sitting there listening to something and then you see the little thing, Oh, it's not even a real, this is just a computer generated thing.
14:34
So I, I just stop it.

So talking about going and like singing and, um, you, you, I suppose you have to hit the certain amount of, um, in excess favorite songs, but is there a song that you would love to sing that one of the night, not all the fans would know that's one of your favorites that you'd like to sing?
19:57
And what are you listening to right now?
20:00
um today i was listening to some rod stewart a little old rod stewart and i'm trying to pick my opener song before i start my set so okay i think i've i think i know at one point I'm not joking.
20:18
I was going to use Britney Spears work bitch as my opener, but like, you know what I mean? And then into the opening song.
20:25
So I still may do that.
20:27
Cause I love that.
20:30
But traditionally, you know, I like to use something like ACDC.
20:35
But I think this time it might be either Britney Spears or Chuck Berry and around there.
21:49
If you could erase all the pressure and expectations and just make music purely for yourself, what kind of music would J.D. Fortune want to make?
86:05
No, no.
86:08
I'll tell you a quick story.
86:10
I got bit by a spider live on stage.
86:13
It was – I thought there was something – I thought, you know, I usually get my collars – I get my collars starched a little bit for my stage clothing and, you know, to look nice and crisp, but – I'm playing and I felt it felt like my collar had just pinched my hair or something on the back of my neck.
86:31
And I just kind of shrugged it off.
86:32
And then it felt like it was a hot poker, like somebody took a like a hanger, heated it up and stuck it in my neck.
86:39
And I went like this.

17 MINS LATER

103:11
Like I listen to Chet Baker and then
2:31
No,
2:33
no. I'll tell you a quick story.
2:36
I got bit by a spider live on stage.
2:40
I thought there was something.
2:42
I usually get my collars starched a little bit for my stage clothing to look nice and crisp, but I'm playing, and it felt like my collar had just pinched my hair or something on the back of my neck.
2:57
And I just kind of shrugged it off.
2:59
And then it felt like it was a hot poker.

16 MINS LATER

18:46
Like I listen to Chet Baker and then
11:57
But anything new coming?
12:01
Oh, yeah.
12:03
Yeah, I'm working on A couple of songs right now.
12:10
I am working on Open a Beer with a gentleman in Australia.
12:13
When I get down there, I'll be singing the vocals for it in Australia.
12:16
And I'm really excited about that.
12:19
And then here I'm working on two new tracks that I'm doing with a local studio here.
14:39
yeah.
