So
2:52
my first job was I was in the radio business out of college.
2:55
And I was the youngest talk show host ever hired in Philadelphia on Sports Radio 610 WIP, which was the number one station for men and sports talk.
3:07
Back in 95 when I got the job and was when I left in 97.
3:12
And the reason I left is because I went into recovery for compulsive gambling, which I was from the time I was 13 until I was 24 when I went into recovery.
3:24
And so as part of my recovery, I took a recovery job.
3:29
If you're not aware what a recovery job is, it's really a mindless job that fills a lot of time, that gives you the space to be able to get your head and recovery jump started so you don't have too much pressure from a work standpoint.

10:01
Yeah.
2:53
game.
2:54
No, no, no.
2:56
Honestly, I've had a miserable competition season.
3:01
I'm new to competing.
3:02
I didn't grow up playing the game.
3:05
I didn't take golf up until I was 23, really 23 years old when I needed to fill some time.
3:11
It was something I did.

17 MINS LATER

20:07
So what is the game like that you're playing every Saturday? Are you in a big dogfight? What's your group like?
12:58
And, you know, I want to get into, you know, starting inked stores and but what was that transition like from that lifestyle and marquee jet and going from that and then starting the merch and everything? I mean, what was that transition like?
13:14
Well, I mean, I had had a, so I had failed in business coming out of 2009.
13:20
And whenever you fail in a business, you have a choice.
13:23
You know, you can either blame the world and be pissed off at everybody else, or you can look from, you know, you can look within.
13:30
And for me, that was a seminal moment of my life where I had to like really take ownership of the fact that I made what I, you know, I wasn't either good enough or I didn't make, you know, I made mistakes.
13:41
And I looked back on that and dissected what went wrong, what could have been done different and really used that as a learning opportunity.
13:50
Now, mind you, that took years.

16 MINS LATER

30:13
And then there's some that's like, yeah, I can't wait to wear this.
