And, you know, it's remarkable how consistent you've been and, you know, One of the first things that I wanted to bring up with you and ask you about is what are the little things that you do and you have done over the last five years to create the consistency, the things that people don't see, the things that happen behind the scenes? What are they?
9:04
Oh, man.
9:05
A couple of them that probably... come to the top of my head right off the bat.
9:11
First and foremost is when I'm not on the water, I'm always doing something related to the tournaments that I'm going to be fishing in the future.
9:20
You know, whether that's like even today, I'm going to go out today for a couple hours on a little lake close to the house, and I'm going to try some new techniques that I haven't tried before to try and almost replicate what I'm going to do, for instance, down on Guntersville in February, because it's going to be very similar here right now.
9:37
to what the water temps are probably going to be on Guntersville in February.
9:40
So I'm just going to play with a bunch of different techniques and stuff like that.

34:00
no no no kidding what give us the details
16:45
and foremost,
16:46
you know, I live in Wisconsin, so we have a long off-season.
16:50
When the schedule comes out, I mean, I'm dissecting every single lake I can as long as I can, as much as I can get into, whether it's, you know, top lures that have done good there that time of the year, whether it's certain sections of the lake that I want to focus on that I already know I want to focus on before I get to the place.
17:09
That kind of, you know, studying that I do at home definitely helps.
17:14
I wouldn't say it's the reason I do good in all these events, but it gives me a good starting point.
17:20
You know, like for example, on Lake Fork, you know, you can do, I mean, there's so much information on Lake Fork.
17:27
Um, but for example, you know, specifically I fished in the little Caney Creek portion of Lake Fork and, you know, that just goes back to history showing like, Hey, in May time of the year, when the fish get offshore, um, And generally, you know, the first time in the year that area plays very well that time of the year.

26 MINS LATER

44:04
How do you go about recovering, or how have you recovered from that scenario this year?
6:25
Is it a timber lake? Does it have grass, docks? What's the lake going to look like for us?
6:32
Yeah, so no docks.
6:35
As far as shoreline structure goes, very limited.
6:39
With the low water, it's a very limited shoreline structure.
6:43
There's, um, a lot of rock in the lake.
6:46
Um, it's a very, I guess you could say there's pretty much like two things you could do.
6:51
You could fish rock and you can fish wood.

9 MINS LATER

15:29
Have you learned how to deal with all the distraction and all the stuff that's going on down there?
