Can you tell us a little bit about what that is? Um, and then when a municipality comes to the DOT with traffic safety concerns, kind of walk us through what that process typically looks like.
17:47
Uh, so Vision Zero is the idea that any fatality that happens in our transportation system is preventable.
17:54
Um, and there are certain ideas on how to achieve that.
17:58
Um, some of the ideas that have come about are, uh, kind of terms such as like complete streets, um, the safe system approach.
18:08
But all of these things kind of go back to, um, making Everything on our transportation system kind of redundant.
18:16
So let's say somebody does miss a sign, maybe there's, there's an additional sign that they can catch to warn them of a sharp curve in the road.
18:26
Let's say they miss all the signs, let's still build the road so that it's not a deadly consequence for making a slight mistake.

Um, so I wanna hear from you, you know, in regards to especially the safety priority, what technologies are you most excited about right now, and how do you see them having a positive impact on traffic design when it comes to those Vision Zero priorities?
