How did that come to you? Was that something that's just, like, you've always kind of drawn that way or something you, like, gravitated towards? Well,

I was drawing a lot for skateboard companies, like Antihero and Creature and a bunch of people.

I'm working with Burton Snowboards.

I'm working with Vans primarily, Vans shoes.

And I was really wanting to be, like, an artist, like, just an artist.

I just thought that was my path.

And my drawings were way looser, kind of, like, just more – canon ink and really fun and i was doing a lot of comics and things like that and then um lauren bouchard the creator of bob's burgers he used to come to my art shows in san francisco and like i don't want to say he was a fan but i was i was a fan of his because i really liked home movies i really liked you know dr cats and all the cartoons he did so we became friends and then um he came to one of my art shows and one day he was like hey man you ever think about working in tv and i was like never and he's like all right well come by my studio i have an idea for uh TV show.

Who was your favorite artist to do a character of?

Oh, man.

Either, like, I've just been hanging out with Slash a lot lately, doing some work with Guns N' Roses, which is really cool.

Slash is, like, probably, like, the coolest dude.

Like, he'll just, like, text me in the morning, like, hey, how you doing? I'm just like, what the hell? Like, Slash, I mean, there's been a lot, but Slash is definitely, or Kerry King from Slayer, too.

Those two guys are just, like, I love those fucking guys.

so how did this come about that you started doing these women festivals

i was tattooing in los angeles which i tattoo every couple months or so if i can i love tattooing i'm really into it tattooing these this guy and his brother we're getting along really good just popping off jokes and i'm like hey man what do you do for a living he's like hey i uh run a music i'm a creative director for a music festival you've probably never heard of and i was like all right After the tattoo was done, I was like, hey, man, why don't you throw me an offer in the morning? I'll go on tour with you guys.
