One time, after Rick crashed his Corvair, he was fixing it up in the Engleshall's driveway.

He was working on the fenders and stuff, but us being kids, we jumped in the front of it, like five of us, and, and, uh, he starts it up, and he took us around the circle down b- down below my parents' house.

There's a big circle with gravel and dirt roads.

And he was pretty much just s- sideways around every turn, [laughs] gravel shooting up, and dust, and all the neighbors be coming out and shaking their finger at him.

"It's dangerous.

You got kids in the front." [laughs] But, um, it was a lot of fun.

There's quite a few times he'd give us rides like that, just either crying, laughing, or peeing in our pants or... [laughs] Yeah, it was pretty insane, pretty crazy.

Jay says he and Rick would hang out at the fort.
