Remind people where you are, the places where you hunt, the people that you talk to, all that kind of stuff, just for folks that may be hearing from the incomparable Jay Anglin for the very first time.

Jay AnglinGUEST
So I'm in northwest Indiana, you know, about 15 minutes from the southeast coast of Lake Michigan, 10 minutes from Michigan state line.

Jay AnglinGUEST
So it's really actually for someone that's keeping tabs on the Great Lakes, I'm kind of dead center almost.

Jay AnglinGUEST
But, you know, overall, I cover, you know, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and, you know, the Great Lakes.

Jay AnglinGUEST
I think a lot of people don't realize how many birds migrate to both the Atlantic and, of course, the Mississippi is what we're known for, but a lot of birds cut across into the Atlantic as well.

Jay AnglinGUEST
migration here in particular in like northern wisconsin minnesota and especially like the northern you know third of say michigan into the up a lot of those birds you know guys will hear oh there's a migration you know birds are going through i read and then they don't see them down south well that's a lot of times because they're cutting across to ontario or going over to you know lake ontario eastern lake erie but nonetheless so it's kind of important i think from my perspective to to filter through all that.

Jay AnglinGUEST
But yeah, you know, overall, I would say just real quick, I mean, it's been, I would say really good overall.

Mike BrasherHOST
Yeah, you don't want to be out on the water when that kind of stuff is coming through, do you?

So both my boys, um, RJ's in school, he's pitching in college, uh, and, uh, he's a heck of a pitcher, and he's a very avid outdoorsman too.

Jay AnglinGUEST
But he's always been, you know, he's a three-sport athlete in high school and of course, that's a huge commitment anymore.

Mike BrasherHOST
What do the weather systems do for y'all in the Great Lakes this year, and how did it affect what you were able to, uh, you know, your, your hunts that you were able to be successful on?
