built into my computer and quite frankly it'd be difficult for me to even run my business without it something that was unfathomable to me three four years ago even the whole thing is it's it's gone completely wacko what what is driving this surge i mean and i know before i stopped i know we're just at the tip of the iceberg we've just barely going here what's causing
6:59
it is accelerating even still right the the pace at which we're developing but yeah you know here's what's driving there's a couple things that are happening all at the same time that have come together at the right time one is the compute power and the um the semiconductors right the gpus the ability to produce these machines that can actually handle these kinds of trillions of computations.
7:29
And then we have unique and new methods and approaches.
7:33
In fact, it was 2017 when an article came out from a Stanford research group and a Google Stanford collab called All You Need is Attention or Attention is All You Need.
7:44
This is a research.
7:45
And this is what led us to Generative pre-trained transformers.
7:51
It was the first article that was talking about attention and transformer models.
12:31
And what are the benefits that you provide to businesses?
29:06
That's the concern he has, but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on that.
29:10
So it's interesting.
29:12
I'm working on a large, uh, data set problem right now, um, across automotive dealers across the US.
29:21
So we have, uh, millions of records of people buying automobiles, but it's coming from four or five different companies that were put together, you know, through a private equity group.
29:36
So you've got databases and tables and the joining function and the pieces.
29:42
And to get the inference, the real inference, it still does take the curation of that data, right? The scaffolding to say what makes sense.
29:52
Now, if you...
34:26
But we just decided that, you know, enough is enough, and we're gonna bring out an interoperable compute system which allows enterprises to compute their data on premise, on the cloud, and in any virtual private cloud environment so that they don't have software drift, and they're not worried about maintaining five different stack pieces across their entire data, you know, estate or landscape.
