I called Jason and Jenny, and here is what I learned.
14:29
Prior to the video being caught, my wife's brother had passed away about 18 months prior.
14:36
Since this has happened, we've had some deep conversations, trying to come to terms with it.
14:42
And we were talking, and it got really intense, and there was a lot of tears.
14:47
And I stepped outside to take a break and smoke a cigarette.
14:51
And I was sitting outside for about 10 minutes, and she got an alert to her phone that there was movement out front by the ring cam.
15:01
I was sitting out there, and I didn't see anything with the naked eye.
17:56
I'm a firm believer that there's so much more out
6:58
And when you think back at those early days, do you feel that the coalition has changed in any way since then that has surprised you?
7:08
I don't think a lot of us... foresaw just how quickly we could move, how quickly we would move from what was a pretty aspirational energy transition in 2006 to a very big one, a very real one 20 years later.
7:26
And the fact that this has caused both enormous economic opportunity and economic disruption, right? And our work has changed in response to how that's played out, particularly for working people and the communities they live in.
7:41
I mean, I'll give you an example because the speed of that transition, I mean, it's changed how we approach or even name issues.
7:48
Right.
7:48
So Example I'll give is the term dress transition, which was coined by another and another labor leader, steelworker aligned legend, Tony Mazzocchi, president of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union.
8:04
He first coined the term back in the 80s when he and his union, this was pre-merger, were calling for a super fund for workers as increasingly a lot of the most polluted industries in the U.S. were either shutting down or shifting production.
11:00
Where are we at right now?
