I love that you mentioned that too with the roads because even like growing up in this community, I remember like – going to school and stuff like it would be a little bit more challenging to get there and now I feel like all the roads like once you enter Pine like it's smooth sailing it almost looks like there wasn't a snowstorm absolutely yeah so that's great too and like like you said this board has been an incredible group of people um in the last two years I've been here they're the only board I've known but it really is amazing like talking with some of the staff who has been here so long like seeing that growth and a lot of that is definitely attributed to a successful board of supervisors and a group of hardworking individuals yeah
7:56
absolutely and and and what people wouldn't see what i love about this podcast jay and not to toot your horn too much but but this is a really cool thing because and i to everybody out there watching um you know i asked jayden to find creative ways to communicate with our public and then you know Be careful before you ask that because then you're going to find yourself with a mic in your face and stand in front of a camera.
8:22
But going back to that, what I love about this podcast is it's going to give us the ability to really communicate out to people.
8:29
Because one of the things I've learned in local government, and it's just across our world now, stories will grow that may or may not entirely be be the you know be the full truth right and this gives us the ability to talk about it so like when we talked about the snow plowing that's not just a oh you know can pine go out there and start plowing the roads we have to be careful about that right because they're not our roads You know, what's the liability? You know, we are our residents are already paying taxes to the state to be doing that.
9:03
Should we be doing something double? So the solution that the board came up with was really creative in that they entered an agreement that shared services.
9:11
So when the township of Pine goes out and does work on on the state's roads.
9:16
there's a tally that's being added up.

12 MINS LATER

So one final question for you is what's something that residents would be surprised to know about running a township?
