Ted NewellHOST
So when you're in the classroom and you're starting to work your way into the specialty lens part of their curriculum, How do you start on scleral lenses? Do you start sort of the old fashioned way with diagnostic fits or what kind of path do you put them on?

Jason JedlickaGUEST
Well, so we, you know, in our intro conduct lens course, we cover the basics of GP lenses and sclerals are a GP lens.

Jason JedlickaGUEST
So there are things that you have to discover through the basics of GPs, including things like tier layer power and tier layer thickness and things like that.

Jason JedlickaGUEST
And the fact that a GP lens isn't just the lens, as I like to refer to it, a GP lens is a system.

Jason JedlickaGUEST
And it's the combination of both that you have to figure out where soft lenses, you don't have to worry about that.
