Jason?

Well, I mean, for me, the intriguing question is the reception studies kind of question.
9:19
And maybe to say a little bit about that way of thinking is this notion, right, that we have these symbols, we have these stories that have really immemorial origins.
9:34
and then they are received into different places and times right and so uh and and when they are when they when they enter into those different places and times they take different shapes um and the person who's making the shaping is has some conscious intentions usually um but then also it's much more from my perspective shaped by the the spirit of the time so if we use the spirit way of speaking, Jung would speak about the spirit of the depths, these deep archetypal realities, and then the spirit of the times.
10:06
And then the question of how do those intersect? It's a reception question.
10:11
How does this thing take a new shape given the conditions that it's coming into? and for astrology folk this should be really recognizable as essentially a divinatory way of seeing because really when you do divination right you have a time and a place uh and you usually have a concern or a question right that that's that's sort of what that's the set and setting of a divination and then the symbol enters that and speaks in a way to that time that place those webs of relations and that concern And so it's it's a really powerful way.
10:44
And for us, we get to learn about the story in a new way every time it hits a new time and place and every time it finds a new medium.

Wasn't there some Zeus lightning at some point and they're maybe ignoring it? I feel like they worked a little bit of it in.
