But what, what was it about Olivia Hussey and her story that made you want to tell this film?

Well, I mean, when I was a teenage boy, like a lot of boys, I had a poster of Olivia Hussey on my bedroom wall, and, uh, from Romeo and Juliet.

I think it was, it was the balcony scene with, uh, with Leonard Whiting.

Um, and I just thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.

I was so...

It wasn't until later I discovered that she was Argentinian, you know, born in, uh, Buenos Aires, and then moved to London with her mother and her brother.
