And again, we support the people of Israel, as you said, the nation of Israel, but we don't have to support every decision the Israeli government does.

Right.

Clear.

That's clear.

Yeah, just touching back on one of the things you said.

I don't believe it set our world back, because I think our world's broken from start to finish.

So I don't think it set back.

I can't picture a priest in a Lamborghini, but could they and should they be wealthy?

So how do you preach that belief without expressing hatred towards, for example, gay Canadians? Mm-hmm.

yeah i think one of the last times we were i was on your uh your podcast we talked a little bit about this and it's it's so layered and so full of um you know rarely when we come into a situation do we just come into the situation we bring all of our good and all of our hurt and our wounds and our successes and our failures and our brokenness we bring all of it to bear in every decision in every circumstance in every conversation so me included, when we talk about different subjects and people approach me and things happen in our culture or what's happening in our laws or things that are just happening in society as a whole, some of those things trigger me because there's things that I've been hurt by or wounded by in the past.

But this seems to be the whole and not wanting to be disrespectful, I don't have all the lingo exactly down, but the LGBTQ plus and all the other additives that are there, that's a very It's a landmine on its own of a conversation.

And then you add in some of the other layers of sexual identity and sexual preference.

It just becomes so convoluted, yet very deeply held by the people who believe in that.

and have that and hold that and feel that and think that and are convinced of that so i don't believe anything is ever a yes and that's the only answer in the sense of that's the end of the conversation i believe yes marriage is between a man and a woman i believe that we find that in how god created man and woman in the Garden of Eden.

It's then affirmed throughout the rest of the Old Testament, and then you get to Jesus in the New Testament, and he refers right back to the Garden of Eden.

I think people, like you said, choose a side and they stick to that side without really putting themselves in the other side's shoes.
