You know, this is when, before the dog price isn't crazy.

Um, and then I got another year and a half, um, a year later, I got another, I only had one hound for a year.

And then a year later I bought another dog for a thousand dollars.

That was the same age as my dog.

And those are the only two dogs I had for shoot three years.

I just hunted those two dogs for three years.

The red dog you got, Chris.

Dude, we were trailing a lion, and we're walking back and forth.

This lion crossed the road, and we couldn't find where it crossed the road.

We turned out about two miles before that.

There's this little draw.

It, it wasn't an actual crossing for that lion to go through, but he points out this blade of grass that's laid over.

And he's like, "You think that lion laid that grass over?" And I'm like, "I don't know, dude." I was like, "Let's call a dog over and check it out." Sure as shit, they hit that spot.

And me and Casey were talking about the style of lions.

Like, you know, up in his country in the Ponderosas and all that stuff, you'll get them toms with them big old fat tails.

And they got that red tint to them and stuff like that.

And down here, they're more sand colored, real tan.

They got a rat tail, real skinny, kind of like a horse hair slicked off in the summer, you know.

They love to get to the tree and tree.

Yeah.

Like, not so much the cold trail at five months, but like we, just a couple years ago, I caught a lion at the end of May, and we started him at 6:00 in the morning, had it treed at 2:00 in the afternoon.

And this little female pup I had, she did the whole thing besides the cold trail.

Once that lion was jumped, she was, she was trailing.

But it was a short jump race, too.

That jump was only, uh, four, 500 yards in that lion climb.
