So, yeah, I think when I got into grad school, I I was nervous for a few different reasons as a first generation college graduate, as somebody who doesn't come from generational wealth.

and navigating predominantly white institutions as a Latina, I felt like I had to work really hard.

I felt like I had to prove myself.

And I recognized that throughout my undergrad, like it was a predominantly white institution.
