And I think those leaders know that if they get pushed out of the party, that's the fastest way they're going to disappear and a far better route for them is to try to take over the party.
35:06
Oh, far better route is for them to go with the party because, you know, unfortunately, I don't think it is quite as easy as them disappearing.
35:12
I think they become more kind of an unstable force within kind of Alberta society.
35:19
We've seen, you know, whether it was a trucker's convoy or what happened at the Coutts border crossing several years ago.
35:26
You know, this element does exist.
35:27
They are angry.
35:29
I think many of them, I think for decades, You talk about the third of the party versus the just over 50% that actually voted that only a third, in fact, do want to leave.

Do you think they'll be able to take over that party? Do you think the mischief they will try to make will be material? And is Daniel Smith playing this the right way?
10:40
What does it mean if it loses 4 million barrels a day?
10:45
Well, it has uneven impacts across the United States because Canadian crude tends to, at present, go to the Midwest and down to the Gulf Coast.
10:54
So you've got a large number of refineries in states like Ohio, Illinois, that pick up you know, Canadian crude that has been massive investments in the types of equipment units to process a heavier crude from Canada.
11:08
And that's the business case is that your refiner in the Midwest, you spend one to $2 billion putting the type of kit in place to process heavy crude, but you can buy this crude at a cheaper cost So over time, you make money buying the discounted crude, but you have to have the capital invested in your facility.
11:26
So those facilities can't just change on a dime to run a lighter crude.
11:31
If they can bypass some of these heavy oil processing units, they have to significantly reduce their throughput, their processing capacity.
11:41
So in the Midwest, I think the market power for Canadian crude is much stronger than it is in, say, Pennsylvania or some of the other areas of the U.S.

Janet, when you were in government, is this something that anybody ever talked about?
