Could you talk a little bit about, uh, that tool and others like it and why they're, they aren't sufficient for solving this problem?

So LaTeX is a very powerful language.

So you have quite some diverse ways of inserting comments in there, or basically adding stuff that you do not need, uh, in the final PDF.

Um, and basically what we did is survey how, uh, prior solutions basically worked and what they did, and most of them use regular expressions to detect, uh, comments and then act upon that.

And I would say like the Google tool is actually archive LaTeX cleaner, that is actually a quite mature tool.

But if you use some ways that are not supported by this tool, then, well, you're out of luck, and this information basically, uh, remains in there.

And we argue that it's not sufficient to rely on any of those.
