... and I, I'd worked with a couple of guys, um, that I became friends with, you know, and we're still friends today actually all these years later.

They went to work for a consulting firm that was based in, uh, Wisconsin around the Milwaukee area.

And, you know, I would always joke with my one pal, John, uh, "Someday I'm gonna move to California.

I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but I'm gonna do it." And he called me and said, "Hey, the company I work for is opening an office in San Francisco, and they're looking for somebody to go and open the office.

Are you interested?" And I was like, "Am I interested?" [laughs] "Well, yes, I am." So I talked with them and ended up ultimately taking that job and opening their consulting office, um, which was, you know, a part of the consulting gig is sales, so, and relationship building.
