isn't that kind of what we have though like i think you talk about like mp we don't want mpd to be the dominant focus but it has and we don't want the mayor to be like the sole person responsible but like that's our form of government that's the way it is like is there any way out of this

Jamison WhitingGUEST

Jamison WhitingGUEST
So I was like, wait, so you're a, you've been this group that has told me all along that you don't trust the mayor to do anything, but now we're going to give him all of this authority.

getting cooperation from other departments and coordinating and a lot of people including myself responded to that by saying like shouldn't the mayor if we all have the same agenda here and want the same outcome why aren't the mayor's department directors implementing that agenda on their own just by virtue of the mayor saying these are my priorities i'm with amanda harrington this stuff needs to happen why do we need to spend two million dollars and have like a you know almost four hundred thousand dollar salary on this commissioner position to make sure these things get done and people are cooperating
